Meet Our Horses.
These are the ones who should get all the kudos! Our herd of horses are some of the finest in our opinion and they all work hard to teach your children how to ride. Although they all have very different personalities, each horse contributes to our family in their own special way and are loved very much by us and all the students they carry. We are very proud of our horses and are honored that they teach our students and fulfill their dreams of riding a horse. They will be with us till the very end. We will never send any of these precious horses away because of their age or illnesses. That is for certain. We are grateful to God and to each and every horse that lives here. They are our family.
Horses making kids dreams come true!
Flamenco is our 24 year old Paso Fino who lived the life of a show horse in his younger days and was a National Grand Champion. During his early days of competitions, he lived a very strict and solitude life. He joined our family 6 years ago and now enjoys the company of his friends and is one of the favorites out here because of his smooth and steady gait. Yay Flamenco. We love you.
Before Lilly came to us, she was very thin, malnourished, sad and lonely. She had no horse friends, and was not getting fed properly. Today she is a happy energetic horse who loves her family. She is absolutely gorgeous and has a smooth gait. She loves to be brushed! We are so happy she is part of our family!!! We love you Lilly girl!
Joy is our beautiful gray mare. She belongs to David and has a lot of trail miles under her saddle as well. She has a smooth gait, gentle and takes care of her riders. She is a fun ride. We love our Joy.
Runner is an amazing horse and is well into his 20's. He prefers kids over adults any day of the week and is kind and gentle with them. He has been with us for a long time and our students love him.
Ty is one of our most loved horses and has been with us for a long time. He has a heart of gold. He is quiet, kind and gentle. He is very tolerant and never complains. He can be a bit on the lazy side and sometimes you will find him making his way to the mounting block to let his rider know that their time is up! He is still a gem of a horse with tons of trail miles under his saddle. All of our beginners start out with Ty. We absolutely love Ty.
Gabe.. When you come to our barn, usually the first horse you will meet is Gabe. He will make sure of that! He is the most unusual horse as he thinks he's human and has a very playful personality. He is one smart horse and is extremely entertaining! He gets in trouble a lot as he likes to steal your hat, water bottle, snack...you name it...but we still love him! He is maturing into a very beautiful and easy to ride horse. Although he's in to everything, he's well loved... that's our Gabe.
Ace is our newest addition. We found him at a sale barn in July of 2023 and couldn’t leave without him. He is a sweet, laid back boy who has found his forever home. He is slow and easy and a great beginner horse. Kids love him too.
Shine. “Duke’s Shining Beauty”. We rescued Shine in March 30, 2023. She was scared, starved, and very untrusting of humans. She had been through sale barns and ended up at a feedlot. She had not had any contact much with humans and was basically a feral, untouched filly. Since we rescued her, she has come a long way. She is trusting us and is an extremely quick learner. We are honored to have her as part of our family and we have high hopes for this athletic girl.
❤️ IN LOVING MEMORY ❤️ Duke was the sweetest, kindest horse and was greatly loved by all the kids. We purchased him in September of 2021 and he was one of our lessons horses. He got sick in February 2023 and had around the clock care for 2 weeks but we couldn’t save him. He is missed terribly and will always be remembered. He was our sweet boy. 2/25/23
Our dogs. When you come to our barn, you’ll be greeted by our 2 dogs, T-Bone and Cali Rose. T-Bone is our energetic blue heeler who never gets tired. He wants you to throw sticks, balls, or whatever, to retrieve. He is a smart, friendly boy who loves his life on the farm. Cali Rose is our white and tan mix breed who is the perfect dog! She loves everyone and is super sweet. She loves to be petted and often times will make her way on the benches to be petted by a parent. She is our beautiful girl.
